NOTD: Essie - Lilacism, again! :-)

Hi everyone!
This NOTD is Essie's Lilacism. It is a lovely lilac color. The first time i tried it I hated it. It was streaky, even after 3 coats... So I tried to rescue it with putting Silver Shatter on top. Didn't help much. I tried it a couple of weeks ago again, and I was surprised of how good it was. It wasn't streaky at all, it was easy to apply, and opaque after two coats. So now I love the polish, very much. It is actually one of my faves now. And Essie has become one of my favourite brands of nail polish. I love Essie as much as I love Barry M now!

What do you think of Lilacism? And do you have it? And if not, would you consider buying it?

Which and how many polishes am I taking with me to Finland?

Someone asked me which polishes I am taking with my on my vacation to Finland. As I don't have so much space, I decided only to take 3 polishes + a base coat (I don't have any top coats anymore, because I used them for Sinful Colors' Blue Ocean). I am also going to take a nail art brush, so I can makes some stripes or something, if I get bored of only have 3 polishes to choose from! :-) But I am sure that I am going to buy some polishes in Finland, so in the end I probably have more than 3 to choose from LOL. So the polishes that I am taking with me are:

Essie - Mint Candy Apple. I love mint green polishes. They are actually my fave. I wasn't sure if I should take Barry M's Mint Green or Essies Mint Candy Apple with me, but I decided to take Mint Candy Apple, as I only have used it twice, and the Barry M is already half empty. And because Mint Candy Apple is a one coater! :P

The next polish that I will be taking with me is Hot Makeup's Berlin Electric Blue. And I am taking that with me because it is a one coater, and very very easy to apply. It's perfect to use if  I am in a rush! :-)

And last but not least, I am taking Gosh's Neon Baby. Neon Baby is a hot pink, but not really neon. The reason that I am taking it with me is, again, because it's a one coater. Neon Baby is from the Special Edition collection for Spring Summer 2011, so you can still get them. The collection haves 4 colors. A lavender/blue one, a pink one, a lilac one and a greyish one. 

The basecoat that I am taking with me is from Mavala. There is not much left in the little polish. I was wondering if one of you know I great basecoat that I should try out? And a mint green polish that I should try out? :-)

Hi everyone!
I've two new polishes from Gosh to show you that I bought a while ago, while Matas had a Gosh BOGO (Buy one, get one). There weren't many polishes left when I got there, but there was luckily the polish I wanted in the first place, Gosh's Silver. I've heard that it is great for stamping as it is so pigmented. Because Silver was a great polish for stamping, I thought Gosh's Frou-Frou would be great too. Frou-Frou is a rose kind of silvery polish. It is really pretty. I haven't tried them yet, but I am sure that they will be great for it, because they are both one-coaters, which I really love. It's always a huge plus when a polish is a one-coater. :-)

I've also two polishes from Hot Makeup to show you. One of them I've already shown you guys, which is called Venice Green. The other one is called Berlin Electric Blue (which is one of the polishes I took with me to Finland). While Venice Green is a normal creme, Berlin Electric Blue is a jelly kind of polish. :-) I really like them both. They both need one to two coats, which is perfectly fine with me. My limit is 3 coats. ;-)

And then the last polish I will show you is a crazy one. I can't figure out if it is a orange or a pink kinda polish. I think that it is a orange based polish with pink glitter in it.:P But, I love it! I got it from a friend from Dubai.

Im going on vacation tomorrow!

I just wanted to let you know that I am going on a 2 weeks vacation tomorrow. So I have 3 posts that blogger is going to post for me while I'm gone. I hope that they are OK! :-)
So yeah! I will be back the 1st of August! Ahh! Summer is at it's end soon! Time really does fly by!

NOTD + New nail brushes + Vacation!

I've decided to do this post in english!
Today's NOTD is Essie's Tart Deco (TD), which is a polish that I got for my birthday, a month ago. TD is a coral/peach kind of orange. I really like it. TD looks a lot lighter than it really is on most of the swatches i've seen so far.
I had a really hard time capturing TD, as it looked to light, too dark, too orange and so on... The best way that I could capture TD was under a lamp. So the pictures arent the best, but I tried. :/

Oh, and now that I remember, I ordered some nail brushes from amazon.co.uk a week ago, and I just got them. There are 12 brushes, and I paid 10 pounds = 90 kr = 17 dollars for them. I know that I could have gotten the way cheaper on Ebay, but oh well. :P There is 5 brushes with a smaller tip, 5 with a bigger, then there is a fan brush and a dotting tool. :) And I love the pink detail on the end of every brush LOL :P

Oh and also; I am going on a 2 week vacation to Finland on Monday - and I have no internet where I am going; does anyone have an idea of what I could do to still post while I am on vacation, or do I just "leave" the blog for two weeks?? :-) And what do you think of Tart Deco? :)

NOTD: Hot Makeup - #15 Venice Green

Håber at I har haft en god mandag indtil videre. Jeg har brugt de sidste par dage på at se Sex and the City. Er snart færdig med sæson fire.
Jeg var ved at blive sindsyg over at ikke have neglelak på, da jeg jo normalt plejer at have det på hver dag. Så jeg lakerede mine negle i går, men en lak fra Hot Makeup. Den hedder Venice Green. Selvom navnet højst sandsynligt er lavet efter byen i Italien, så elsker jeg navnet da den minder mig om Venice Beach. Jeg har egentlig ikke selv været på Venice Beach, men jeg elsker stranden alligevel. :P
Lakken er mere grøn i virkeligheden.

I hope you all have had a great Monday so far. I have been watching Sex and the City the last couple of days. I am soon done with season 4. :-)
I painted my nails with a polish called Venice Green. Even though the polish is named after the city in Italy, I really like the name, because it reminds me of Venice Beach. I haven't been there myself, but I've somehow fallen in love with it, before I have been there. But I'm sure that I will take a trip to California someday! :D
The polish is more green IRL.

I rescued a polish: Blue Ocean by Sinful Colors

Jeg havde ikke denne lak længe, før den var brugt helt op. Jeg var obsessed med den, dengang at jeg købte den (sommer 2010). Der gik 1-2 måneder, og så var der ikke så meget af den tilbage. Hver gang jeg brugte den  lakerede jeg den både på mine fingernegle og tånegle. Og brugte tre lag, så nu kan jeg da se hvorfor den ikke varede så længe. Nå, nu til min redning af lakken. Jeg fandt den igen I dag, men den var ret tyk og men der var nu lidt i bunden, så jeg tog mine to depend top coat's (der var halvdelen tilbage i dem begge) og så tog jeg min Gosh High Shine top coat (hvilket der også var halvdelen i) og hældte det i lakken og rystede godt og grundigt. Nu har jeg næsten en halv flaske af min elskede Blue Ocean. Og den er ikke så tyk mere. :-) Jeg måtte dog ofre mine top coats, but who cares, nu kan de bruges til franken som flasker.

I just rescued my lovely Blue Ocean by Sinful Colors today, by pouring some clear top coat in it. I used some of my older top coats that I don't use. 2x depend top coats (they were both half full) and 1x Gosh top coat, which was half full aswell. I am so glad that I now have almost half a bottle of Blue Ocean. It was my fave polish in summer 2010, so I used it all up very quickly, because I loved it so much.
Welcome back Blue Ocean.

Det er fordi, mine negle var virkelig skadet. Og jeg mener VIRKELIG skadet. Så jeg besluttede for at klippe dem helt korte. De har ikke været så korte i 2½ år eller dvs dengang jeg bed negle :P. Så kan egentlig ikke poste NOTD's i et stykke tid nu. Har nemlig tænkt mig at lade dem gro lidt for jeg begynder at lakere dem igen. :) Så jeg tænkte på om der er noget specielt I kunne tænke jer at se her på bloggen? Ellers så poster jeg bare lidt random ting om neglelakker, kaniner og sådan! Haha :)

As my nails were really unhealthy, I decided to cut them really short. They have not been so short in a really long time. And I don't really want to polish them, before they've grown a little. So I can't post NOTD's for a while. So I was wondering, as the title says, is there anything you want to see on this blog?
And if not, I think I'll post some random posts, about polishes, bunnies and stuff! haha :)
