NOTD: OPI - Russian Navy Suide + China Glaze - Pink Voltage

Hi!

Long time, no see! I know that i've been gone for over a week now. I've just had so much to do this week. Beside yesterday, where I was in Tivoli in Copenhagen. It was really fun, I tried a lot of things and ate a lot of candy! :P I am sick now, though! I tried something called "Himmelskibet" (http://www.tivoli.dk/himmelskibet) and the wind was blowing like crazy and it was quite cold, so I think that it could be because of that, that I got sick. :( But it was fun, though! :D

Today's NOTD that I am going to show you is an old one, from July/early August I think. I am wearing Russian Navy Suede by OPI, which is a matte shimmery dark blue polish! :-) On my ringfinger I am wearing China Glaze's Pink Voltage which is a neon pink! :-) I used 1 coat of Russian Navy and 3 coats of China Glaze's Pink Voltage.

NOTD: Sephora – Diving in Malaysia // A Chanel Peridot dupe?

Hi everyone!
I am back with another NOTD.
This polish that I am about to show you is a polish I bought while I was in Barcelona. When I saw it in Sephora, I was surprised about how much it looked like Chanel's Peridot, so I bought it. It was 5€, so way way cheaper, than Peridot would be. I don't have Peridot myself, to compare, but I am pretty sure that this would be a cheaper alternative, for Peridot. Diving in Malaysia (DIN) is a gold/green polish, like Peridot is, the only difference about these two are that DIN is more gold.

These pictures are also taken before I cut my nails short again. :P

I used two coats.

NOTD: Golden Rose - 120

Hi everyone!
I know i've been gone for way too long. First I was 2 weeks in Finland, then I was home for 3 days or so, and then I was off to Barcelona, and then I got home and school almost started right away! And now because school has started again, it's harder for me to blog often, but i'll try as hard as I can. :)

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, my nails are super short again, because they were totally ruined as I changed my nails polish every day this week. And they were doing so great! They weren't dry, no peeling and they weren't stained eather, but now they are, because I changed my polish every day! Ahhh! :( So I thought that I would be better if I just cut them down again. At least I learned a lesson, never ever change your polish daily. :P

Now to the NOTD:
Golden Rose is a brand I've heard of a couple of times before, but never seen here in Denmark. So I got a bit excited when I saw the brand in Finland. I fell in love with a green holo, a black holo, and this polish that I am about to show you. I only bought this polish though, because I knew I was going to Barcelona, and didn't want to spend all my money, because it would have been pretty bad if I didn't have any in Barcelona, LOL!

#120 is a red/pinkish holographic polish, and it's a two coater. The red/pinkish color is so so pretty, and I've been looking for this kind of holo polish for a long time. So yeah, I really like it, almost more than my lovely Reserve from OPI. :P

Btw, these pictures were taken before I cut my nails down again! And the polish looks a bit darker IRL!

NOTD: Essie - Lilacism, again! :-)

Hi everyone!
This NOTD is Essie's Lilacism. It is a lovely lilac color. The first time i tried it I hated it. It was streaky, even after 3 coats... So I tried to rescue it with putting Silver Shatter on top. Didn't help much. I tried it a couple of weeks ago again, and I was surprised of how good it was. It wasn't streaky at all, it was easy to apply, and opaque after two coats. So now I love the polish, very much. It is actually one of my faves now. And Essie has become one of my favourite brands of nail polish. I love Essie as much as I love Barry M now!

What do you think of Lilacism? And do you have it? And if not, would you consider buying it?

NOTD + New nail brushes + Vacation!

I've decided to do this post in english!
Today's NOTD is Essie's Tart Deco (TD), which is a polish that I got for my birthday, a month ago. TD is a coral/peach kind of orange. I really like it. TD looks a lot lighter than it really is on most of the swatches i've seen so far.
I had a really hard time capturing TD, as it looked to light, too dark, too orange and so on... The best way that I could capture TD was under a lamp. So the pictures arent the best, but I tried. :/

Oh, and now that I remember, I ordered some nail brushes from amazon.co.uk a week ago, and I just got them. There are 12 brushes, and I paid 10 pounds = 90 kr = 17 dollars for them. I know that I could have gotten the way cheaper on Ebay, but oh well. :P There is 5 brushes with a smaller tip, 5 with a bigger, then there is a fan brush and a dotting tool. :) And I love the pink detail on the end of every brush LOL :P

Oh and also; I am going on a 2 week vacation to Finland on Monday - and I have no internet where I am going; does anyone have an idea of what I could do to still post while I am on vacation, or do I just "leave" the blog for two weeks?? :-) And what do you think of Tart Deco? :)

NOTD: Hot Makeup - #15 Venice Green

Håber at I har haft en god mandag indtil videre. Jeg har brugt de sidste par dage på at se Sex and the City. Er snart færdig med sæson fire.
Jeg var ved at blive sindsyg over at ikke have neglelak på, da jeg jo normalt plejer at have det på hver dag. Så jeg lakerede mine negle i går, men en lak fra Hot Makeup. Den hedder Venice Green. Selvom navnet højst sandsynligt er lavet efter byen i Italien, så elsker jeg navnet da den minder mig om Venice Beach. Jeg har egentlig ikke selv været på Venice Beach, men jeg elsker stranden alligevel. :P
Lakken er mere grøn i virkeligheden.

I hope you all have had a great Monday so far. I have been watching Sex and the City the last couple of days. I am soon done with season 4. :-)
I painted my nails with a polish called Venice Green. Even though the polish is named after the city in Italy, I really like the name, because it reminds me of Venice Beach. I haven't been there myself, but I've somehow fallen in love with it, before I have been there. But I'm sure that I will take a trip to California someday! :D
The polish is more green IRL.

Dagens neglelak er en lyserød holografisk lak som hedder Reserve. Jeg købte den da jeg var i Finland i april. Og jeg har også vist jer den før, dog ikke ude i solen.
Reserve er ikke så holografisk indenfor, men så snart man kommer ud i solen, så er den bare så smuk. Tænkte at det var en perfekt lak at tage på, nu når det alligevel bliver varmt de næste par dage, og hvor solen skinner.

Today's polish is a light pink holographic polish, and it is called Reserve. I bought it when I was in Finland in April. I have showed you it before, but not in the sun.
Reserve doesn't look so holographic inside, but right when it comes out in the sun, it is so so pretty!
I thought that it would be the perfect polish to wear now, because it's going to be hot in Denmark the next few days, so the sun is going to shine a lot. It was already pretty hot today. 26 in celsius.

NOTD: Essie - Tart Deco + Silver Shatter

Håber I har haft en god uge indtil videre.
Det her billede er taget for lidt tid siden, men better late than never. Lige nu har jeg Essie's Lilacism på. Ville give den endnu en chance. Og seriøst, ved ikke hvad der skete med den første gang jeg tog den på, men nu elsker jeg den virkelig. Den er nem at tage på, og der skal kun to lag til. Ved ikke om det er fordi at jeg har klippet mine negle kortere nu? :P
Tart Deco er en coral-orange color, som er rigtig fed nu til sommeren. Jeg har et lag af Tart Deco på billedet, og et lag af Silver Shatter.

This picture is taken a while ago, but better late than never. Right now I am wearing Essie's Lilacism. I wanted to give it another chance. And seriously, I don't know that happend to it the first time I tried it, but now I adore it. It easy to apply, and you only need two coats. I don't know if it helped that I cut my nails shorter? :P
Tart Deco is a coral-orange color, which is really great for the summer. I am wearing one coat of Tart Deco and one of Silver Shatter on the picture. :)

Nu har jeg endelig fået det til at virke! Siden jeg har været så stille for tiden, så kommer der også lige et NOTD op I morgen, da det har været et af de indlæg jeg skulle have postet tidligere! :)

Min NOTD består af Depends #34 som base color og Rimmel Londons Sky High top som de blå "prikker" :)

I finally fixed my computer. It didnt want to save any of my pictures from my camera. So thats why it has been so quiet here on the blog. :) I'll promise to post a NOTD tomorrow, too, because I havent been posting a lot lately.

NOTD: Gosh - Silky Mint + The polish I've been wanting for a long time ;)

Håber at I har nydt jeres miniferie indtil videre!
Jeg var til Open by night i går, for at se om nogle af butikkerne havde nogle tilbud. Det havde Esthetique (aner ikke om det staves sådan :P), 4 Gosh produkter for 100kr. Så jeg fik over for at se om der var noget neglelak der måske var sat ned! Og det var der skam. I gætter aldrig hvad jeg fandt...... RAINBOW<3 JEG FANDT MIN ELSKEDE RAINBOW! ;) Så jeg snuppede 2x Rainbow, 1x Gypsy Blue og 1x Silky Mint. Kun for 100kr. Det er ret billigt må man sige ;) Overvejede at snuppe alle de Rainbow's de havde der, men veninden skulle også have én, og så var der altså heller ikke flere tilbage. ;)
Min NOTD består af 2 lag af Silky Mint og 1 lag af Rainbow (<3) og et lag af China Glaze's matte top coat.
Ved godt at billederne er lidt skod, men når mit kamera var out of focus, kunne man se farverne på Rainbow bedst. :)

There was Open By Night at my town yesterday, so I went there. If you don't know what it is, it's when all stores are open until 12 o'clock or so. And some stores have great discounts. :)
I found a great sale at a store called Esthetique, 4 Gosh products for around 20 USD, which is quite cheap. :) I saw that they had Gosh's discontinued Rainbow on sale, so I freaked out! I've been looking for that damn polish for so long now. ;) So I bought 2x Rainbow, Gypsy Blue and Silky Mint. All great colors :)
I am wearing two coats of Silky Mint, 1 of Rainbow and one coat of China Glaze's Matte top coat. :)
I know that the pictures are kinda sucky, but you can see Rainbow's amazingness when the camera is out of focus. :)

NOTD: Essie - Mint Candy Apple

Jeg har været elendig til at poste noget i denne her uge. I know. Har bare haft en super travl uge i denne her uge, men kommer nu til at have en endnu travlere uge i næste uge, men det er nu heldigvis kun i 3 dage! :)
Jeg var I Matas i fredags, og der købte jeg Essie's Mint Candy Apple (MCA) og Depends #34, som I kommer til at se I min næste NOTD ;)
MCA er en mint grøn lak. Den er mere grøn i virkeligheden :) Og btw, I am so sorry for de elendige billeder :(

I bought Essie's Mint Candy Apple (MCA), and Depends #34 (which I think you all are going to see in my next NOTD) last friday.
MCA is a mint green polish. It is more green in real life ;) And btw, I am sorry for the really sucky pictures :(

NOTD: Rimmel - 780 Hard Rock

Håber at I har haft en god weekend. Jeg har brugt hele dagen i dag på at lave lektier. Jeg er heldigvis færdig nu! ;)

Min NOTD er Rimmels Hard Rock. Det er fra deres jule-kollektion fra 2010. Det er en grå/sølv-agtig farve, med lidt holografisk shimmer i. Det er ikke så tydeligt på neglene, som det er i flasken. :)

My NOTD is Rimmels Hard Rock. The polish is from their christmas-collection from 2010. It is a grey/silver color, with a bit of holographic shimmer in it. You don't really notice it on the nails, as much as you do in the bottle. :)

I'm back + a NOTD :)

Hejsa! Er det længe siden, eller er det længe siden? :P Det var faktisk meningen at jeg skulle skrive hvorfor jeg ikke kommer til at blogge i omkring en uge, men så fik jeg altså travlt. Så lad os spole tiden tilbage til mandag morgen d. 9/5. Jeg skulle til Bornholm den dag, men jeg havde regnet med at nå at lave en lille post dér om morgenen, men lige pludselig fik jeg altså skide travlt (for at sige det ligeud) og var der 2 min før toget kørte. Jeg kom hjem i weekenden, og har altså været ret træt (Jaja, dårlig undskyldning :P) indtil i dag. Så nu er jeg tilbage. Så grunden til at jeg har været væk er altså fordi jeg var på en lille uges ferie på Bornholm. Men det var nu er ret så skøn tur. Og vejret var varmt og rigtig skønt. :) Så kommer man så hjem her til Jylland igen, hvor det stadig er skide koldt, og det regner og blæser hele tiden, men det er jo så en helt anden historie. :P Men altså, I'm back! :)
   Jeg bestilte China Glaze's Matte Magic top coat fra Smartgirl.dk, sammen med noget andet tøj, i lørdags og jeg fik det så her i dag! Og jeg må skam sige at den top coat virker rigtig fint. Jeg ved ikke med holdbarheden endnu, men det skal jeg nok opdatere jer om senere.
   Min NOTD består af Maybelline's Mellow Mauve, Wet n Wild's Halucinate, og så den der CG matte top coat. Det ser faktisk ret fedt ud. :-) Jeg overvejer at droppe min meget ønskede Zoya Mod Mattes lakker, nu når jeg har fået den her top coat, men nu må vi jo se, for de er altså lidt hard to get når man ikke er vild med at bestille fra ebay. :)

Hi everyone! To make a long story short, I have been on a vacation for almost a week. I thought that I had the time to update this blog before I left that day, but suddently I had to hurry up, and arrived at the train station 2 minutes before the train left. But I had a great vacation, and I am back now. :)
   I ordered China Glaze's Matte Magic top coat a few days ago, and I must admit that I am pretty impressed with it. I don't know how long it lasts yet, but i'll promise to update you about that.
   My NOTD is Maybelline's Mellow Mauve, Wet n Wild's Halucinate and the CG matte top coat. It actually looks kinda cool. I'm thinking about not buying my very wished Zoya Mod Mattes polishes, because I have got this top coat now, but I don't know yet. :) I want the polishes really bad, but they are so hard to get for me, because I am not a fan of ordering from ebay!

Jeg vil bare lige poste en NOTD hurtig! :) Det er Barry M's Shocking Pink (2 lag) med alt for mange lag af Purple Ave på :P Blev bare lidt obsessed med den.<3 1 lag af Purple Ave var flot, 2 var lidt flottere, 3 var nu næsten nok og 4 lag var mere end nok. Jeg har fire lag på billedet, og egentlig havde jeg kun brug for 1-2, men altså.. flager er dejlige ;-P

I just wanted to post a NOTD quickly! :) It's Barry M's Shocking Pink (2 coats) with way way WAY too many coats of Purple Ave. I just got obsessed with it.<3 1 coat of Purple Ave is pretty, two is even more pretty, 3 was almost enough, and 4 coats was definitely enough! I have 4 coats of it on the picture, and I actually only needed 1-2 coats, but oh well.. i love flakies ;-P
